MindMe ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the MindMe mobile application (the "App").
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly:
- Onboarding preferences: Name or nickname, age group, gender, lifestyle situation, preferred character, message tone, and notification preferences. These are stored locally on your device and used to personalize your experience.
- Favorites: Quotes you save as favorites are stored locally on your device.
Information collected automatically:
- Usage data: Daily quote view counts (stored locally) to manage free tier limits.
- Device information: Device type and operating system version, used to ensure app compatibility.
- Subscription data: Purchase and subscription status is managed by RevenueCat and Apple App Store / Google Play Store. We do not directly store your payment information.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Personalize your motivational quotes and character interactions
- Deliver scheduled notifications at your preferred times
- Display home screen widgets with your preferred content
- Manage subscription status and premium features
- Improve and optimize the app experience
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Supabase: Cloud database for storing quote content and images. Your personal preferences are stored locally on your device, not on Supabase servers.
- RevenueCat: Manages in-app subscriptions and purchases. RevenueCat processes subscription data in accordance with their privacy policy.
- Apple App Store / Google Play Store: Handles all payment processing for subscriptions. We never have access to your payment details.
4. Data Storage and Security
Most of your personal data (preferences, favorites, usage data) is stored locally on your device using secure local storage. We do not transfer your personal preferences to external servers.
Quote content and character images are fetched from our Supabase cloud database, but this does not require or involve your personal data.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We only share information as described in this policy (with service providers necessary to operate the App).
6. Children's Privacy
The App is rated for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data (stored locally on your device)
- Delete your data by uninstalling the app, which removes all locally stored information
- Manage your subscription through Apple App Store or Google Play Store settings
- Opt out of notifications at any time through the app settings or device settings
8. Data Retention
Your local data is retained on your device as long as the app is installed. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data. Subscription data managed by RevenueCat is retained according to their data retention policy.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
