Welcome to MindMe. By downloading, installing, or using the MindMe mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
1. Description of Service
MindMe is a motivational companion app that delivers personalized quotes through cute animal characters. The App provides daily motivational content, home screen widgets, notification reminders, and sharing features.
2. User Accounts
The App does not require account creation. Your preferences and data are stored locally on your device. Subscription management is handled through your Apple ID or Google Play account.
3. Free and Premium Tiers
Free Tier:
- Access to limited daily quotes (up to 3 per day)
- One default character (Milo)
- Basic notification (1 per day)
Premium Tier:
- Unlimited quotes
- Access to all characters (Milo, Moru, Lumi, Kobi, Toto)
- Home screen widgets
- Unlimited notifications
4. Subscriptions and Payments
- Premium subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store
- Subscription options include Monthly, Yearly, and Lifetime plans
- Free trial periods may be offered; you will be charged at the end of the trial unless you cancel
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's App Store or Google Play settings
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective refund policies
5. Intellectual Property
All content in the App — including but not limited to quotes, character designs, illustrations, icons, and UI elements — is owned by MindMe or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
You may share quotes through the App's built-in sharing features for personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the App's content for commercial purposes without our written permission.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's services or servers
- Remove any copyright or proprietary notices from the App
- Use the App's content for commercial purposes without authorization
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the App's reliability, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
MindMe is a motivational app and does not provide professional mental health advice, therapy, or counseling. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified professional or emergency services.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MindMe shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data or interruption of service.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. Active subscriptions must be canceled separately through your App Store or Google Play settings.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict of law principles.
